These guys were pretty selfish and immature to not step up and tell the women in their lives the truth. I was zanra a romance Greeeeeeat book! His career was on its prime and he was striving for the higher position. It served to add an element of authenticity, along with the different flavor of the author’s voice. Overall that wasn’t bad enough to let me stop reading. I was initially flummoxed by the situation with Lucy and wondering why the author handled it in that way, but the ending was quite a zahraa.
I liked the whole concept and the closeted politician theme though, and I’m sorry I didn’t like this book more: I suppose I was expecting more international intrigue – for the diplomat set – and instead got a pretty standard domestic drama, featuring bitter exes females, natch.
But then he lays his eyes on Lucas, the British liaison officer for zxhra US ambassy. He has a wonderful career and he is an example for all the men around him: Yeah, I didn’t buy it.

Sweet, light, I enjoyed it. You know, it is possible that a zwhra knows her husband is bisexual, accepts this aspect of him and isn’t insecure. Lucas is not fresh to gay relationships, when he was studying in America he has had also a boyfriend, but then he has understood that, for having a carrer in the diplomacy, he has to have the right connections and also the right woman beside him.

I don’t really need to know what ALL the people in a story are thinking or what their motivational processes are – again, if the story is told correctly then the main character can describe the actions, emotions, facial expressions etc. Not to mention, they work in the diplomatic corp. The sex is plentiful, but has an extra dimension of tenderness since Jack has zero experience with men.
Also, the constant use of “my Zahta and similar terms was strange. I didn’t hate it and I did’t really feel the need to dnf bu at the same time I did get bored and there was a lot of eye rolling involved.

Hell, maybe she would have been happy to let him zahrx and been there for the ride. This was a well edited book and the sex was pretty hot. Oh yes, she doesn’t react well when she finds the truth, but how would you women react to such a thing? Jack is the US Ambassador in Brussel. Both Jack and Lucas are nice guys, handsome and urbane and totally in love with each other. She is not the bad diolomacy usually we find in this type of story.
And I like the way they act.
