The way I read acmelot, Forward wrote some of his books purely to explain his more esoteric ideas. Stephen King said “It’s the tale, not he who tells it”. Books by Robert L. Don’t read this book near sharp objects or heavy machinery. This is a classic Forward style book. Having some scientific knowledge is helpful.
