Listened to the audiobook. It all makes sense now Brain science is not new to me. The author has several interesting ideas, but also makes some errors when it comes to his understanding of genetics or quantum physics. The book covers some genuinely useful research on neuroscience and human behaviour, but it’s often warped so badly to match the authors preconceived ideas, it’s hard to know what you can trust.
You will be better for having read this book and be armed with some great knowledge. If this book was part of every high school science or psychology curriculum we would empower the next generation to break free from all limiting thinking and This book blows the doors off mere positive thinking by explaining in an engaging manner how our cells can become addicted to the chemicals produced by certain emotional states.

I have really benefited from this book and I love the neuroscience part and the best part for me was having the bonus material to refer to and really understanding what is going on from a biological point of view.
It gets quite difficult to listen to after a while, shame as he’s very good. To single out one variable and suggest causality is the opposite of the scientific method.
Is it possible to heal by thought alone – without drugs or surgery? Seemed to be reaching a bit too far but then I haven’t really studied it or reread it so perhaps that is not a fair assessment. Oh woe is me!

Firstly I came the author on You Tube – I then went on holiday and then after shopping one day thoughts I really need a good book, then next thing Dispensa was walking past a book shop and the very 1st book I saw Mind Power of the 21st Century and it says in there “nothing happens by coincidence”.

Changing One Belief and Perception. Great insight to improve your life physically, psychologically, and fundamentally! Just my initial thought after my first read. I recommend this book for anyone who is curious about the brain’s function and its plasticity, which is wonderfully played out in Dispenza’s story of his personal experiences and that of others.
Don’t like your audiobook? A must read if you want to get unstuck. What if charisma could be taught? A prime example of Mr. Some of his claims are probably a bit too bold, and reflect a great an I highly recommend this book. He may have healed his physical injury–though we are forced to be dubious about the true extent of his injury and ask whether he may be a fraud and a charlatan who exaggerated–but it was not through force of mind and neuroplasticity he even seems to misunderstand his own field’s edict about the innate power of the body to heal, not realizing that his physical treatments through chiropractic open up the nerve pathways to allow this innate power to take over, again having nothing to do with the mind or will of the patient.
The brain has always interest me because of my cerebral palsy. Dispenza’s faulty education comes when he strongly suggests that two workers side by side in a toxic factory may exhibit one with cancer and one without after 50 years. This book is science heavy with minimal practices.

Overly repetitive and filled with information that borders on the law of attraction, but packaged in the respectable label of “science”. Now I see how his outlook matches contemporary sciences. But in a way that empowers us to change the very nature of who we are. It covers all aspects of psychology in the first half of the book and then goes into how to make change in our lives in a way that is lasting. Drop whatever you are doing and GO get this book.
The basic premise that self reflection and a concerted effort to evole automatic responses can help improve us is sound, but the author then claims a whole host of other super powers ranging from curing cancer to bestowing physic powers.
