I spiced it up with a reading and master layout graphic for each Major Card. Arrjen interpretation of the cards seems arrienn and well-rounded.
The Crowley deck was what I was originally drawn to and what I go back to every time so maybe that’s the connection I feel with her, but I still feel anyone could benefit from this book. I refer to this text so often that the spine has been severed several times. How to handle all the mathematical equations that cover Soul and Personality and Yearly Growth Cards.

The Tarot Handbook Teacher’s Guide
This book also contains information on the “Five Shapes Test” also known as the “Preferential Shapes Test” which has been used in businesses, organizations, and groups to facilitate greater understanding, communication and collaboration. Great resource if you use Thoth. An anthropologist who specializes in cross-cultural myths, Arrien demonstrates how the arrie figures of the tarot are portraitures and archetypes that are prevalent in the collective human experience. It is written for the Crowley deck and is certainly better than the one crowley wrote to go with his cards.
They both say I’ve got lots of talent–maybe it hasn’t emerged yet Arrien has examined the way diverse cultures handle the challenges unique to the great crossing at midlife. Rarien is by far the most complete and useful book on Tarot I have ever found. Highly recommend to accompany the Thoth deck.
